Peaceful Evening is a small oil painting, just 3 by 4 inches, that explores the quiet intensity of a river at sunset. The surface of the water holds the warm golden and orange tones of the setting sun, while dense green foliage on the left bank gently recedes into the distance. The sky presents soft blues and muted yellows, with a few clouds catching the last light. Through textured brushstrokes, I aimed to convey subtle movement in both the water and leaves, capturing a moment grounded in calm and natural balance. Sunsets have always drawn me because they promise a sense of peace, and this piece reflects that quiet intention.
