Silence is a small oil painting, just 3 by 4 inches, created entirely with my knife. It captures a rugged mountain range where sharp, angular peaks are dusted with snow. The contrasts between the dark browns of the rock and the crisp whites of the snow draw the eye, while touches of blue add depth to the textured surfaces. At the base, a still body of water reflects the landscape with quiet precision, set against a muted teal sky that emphasizes the forms without distraction. This piece explores the raw energy of nature through deliberate, textured strokes—an exercise in focusing on shape and movement using only the knife as my tool.
